EARLY MORNING REDFISH

4-19-2013--I met my two fishermen at 6 AM for breakfast at the Lighthouse Inn.  I think they were a little dubious about fishing considering the unfavorable weather.   There were no boat trailers in the parking lot when we launched in a strong north wind and misty rain.  In fact I didn't see another boat on the water until about 10 AM.  Rome and Roque caught 5 nice redfish and lost a couple right away on Gulp jerk shad. We

moved many times during the next 5 hours and caught several fish using all sorts of bait including cut shad and dead shrimp.  They finally caught the 6th red when we moved back
to the original spot late in the day.
