STORM FISHING

6-19-16--Four guests limited on trout before 8 AM while dodging storms. We did get wet a couple of times but there was no close lightening.

EARLY BITE

6-18-2016--The three guests limited with 15 trout before 7 AM this morning. It was a good thing we started early because other guides later told me the bite slowed a lot after that.

REDS LIKE WIND

5-28-2016--Today was too windy to fish on the outside beaches for trout so we opted for redfish.  The two couples managed to boat 8 keeper reds including one that measured 27 7/8 inches.  The bigger reds were a real challenge to get to the boat.  They also caught about 15 undersized reds around 19 inches each.    

 

WINDY DAY

 

 5-26-2016--Had three guests today.  They caught 8 nice size trout and 8 redfish up to 27 1/2 inches.

TROUT AND REDS

5-25-2016--This is the first I've posted of the last four trips because I forgot to take pictures.  Each trip we've had good boxes of trout and reds with an occasional flounder.  Today's  guests limited on trout and caught 4 redfish.  The biggest trout weighed 6 1/2 pounds and measured 26 1/2 inches.

 

REDS IN HIGH TIDES

5-20-2016--Had two fishermen today with a large corporate multi-boat group.  They limited on red drum before 7 AM but trout were not so easy.  We fished 7 more hours for 8 trout and 1 flounder.  They also got to catch some large skip jack that were feeding under birds.

 

FISHING BETWEEN RAIN STORMS.

Limited on reds and got 5 trout with very high tides.
